The meeting in Bonn had a strong focus on the need to share, standardize and merge data that will be included in the multi-taxon forest biodiversity platform that will be at the core of the whole Action.
Participants agreed on the three levels of detail for the data to be collected: metadata; aggregated data and raw data.
Work in groups was focused on data preparation, development of a handbook of protocols for multi-taxon studies, format tables to be shared and workflow in R for data checking, merging and standardization.
The core group meeting in the second day focused on slight changes in the bylaws, in forthcoming meetings and training schools.
